The ‘Why in the World’ series introduces citizenship topics in a sensitive way with heartfelt illustrations, helping to connect children’s own experiences to larger issues in the world
Pollution is destroying our planet. But what is pollution and why is it so bad? This book looks at types of pollution from litter in the playground to plastic waste in the sea and suggests small changes that can make a big difference, helping to keep us and our world healthy and safe.
Full of empathy and emotion, the books in this series are an excellent first look at local and global challenges. The notes included for parents and teachers offer springboard for healthy discussion at home and in the classroom.
