Your kingdom awaits! But what to wear? Which animal should you choose as your royal companion – will it be a feisty pug, like Josephine of France, a monkey like Catherine of Aragon, or a chameleon like Queen Elizabeth II? Where should you live – a palace? A castle? A cave? Every time you open the book, you can create a whole new kingdom.
Peppered with facts about real royals from around the world and throughout history, Royal for a Day will help young readers step into new shoes for the day as they choose to take charge of their own destiny.
María is an illustrator based in South East Spain. She has worked with publishers based in the UK, Belgium, and Spain, and I loves to work in different areas like educational projects, fiction books, and picture books. She has worked with Wacky Bee, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education, Templar books among others. Through her illustrated stories, María aims to inspire both kids and adults to embrace the beauty and excitement of always looking at the world through the eyes of a child as well as to feel comfortable and be brave to be who they truly are.
