We’re celebrating the release of Dear Katie, a new book from CBBC and Radio 1 presenter Katie Thistleton that’s packed full of practical advice for real problems. Katie is a Mind ambassador and is passionate about raising awareness of mental health issues with young people.
The book launched during Children’s Mental Health Week and to link into their 2018 campaign to encourage children and young people to celebrate their uniqueness, we’ve got a great competition for your school – all you have to do is tell us what makes you unique!
Who is the competition for?
The subject matter of the book and the content of Katie’s events are most suited to children aged 10-16. Topics covered in the book include family and friendships, having trouble at school and concerns around mental or physical health.
How do we enter?
We want to hear about the things that make your school unique and how this helps students to be themselves. To take part simply download this activity sheet and fill it out with your students, it can be a small group or an activity for the whole-class. Please note that only one entry per school will be accepted.
Return your completed form to us via email by Monday 7th May to be entered into the competition.
