Brian Lies is a best-selling author and illustrator, and a Caldecott Honoree for The Rough Patch. He is a masterful visual storyteller and is best known for his popular Bats books; his most recent is Little Bat in Night School. Brian lives with his family in a seaside town in Massachusetts, USA.
